G2 Risk Facilitator
G2 Risk Faciltator provides the skills and knowledge for individuals working in the Resource Industry who required to implement the risk management system within an established system for a mine site.
RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process unit of competency includes the application of local hazard identification, formal risk assessment and implementation of risk controls, and is appropriate for those working in supervisory roles.
Who Should Attend?
The G2 competency is a mine site specific requisite for certain supervisory roles on a mine site where the worker is required to undertake facilitation and auditing of formal risk assessments.
Students should have sufficient literacy and numeracy skills to read and comprehend instructions for safety in the workplace and be employed in the Resource Sector.

Strategic Corporate Training regularly conducts G2 Risk Facilitator training as a one day course at our Thornton venue in conjunction with the S1 S2 S3 Site Safety Supervisor.
Students who require more time to develop their understanding of the training content have the opportunity to complete and submit their assessments tasks within six months from commencement.
Face to face training is conducted at our facility in Thornton NSW which is easily accessible for individuals from the Hunter Valley, Maitland, Newcastle Region, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Port Stephens and Mid-North Coast areas.
Assessment
Assessment is based on competency, which is the ability to demonstrate specific skills.
A range of assessment methods will be utilised to assess competence in each unit within the course including group activities, projects, written questions, presentation, observation etc.
G2 Risk Facilitator course requires the completion RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process unit of competency to achieve a Statement of Attainment from the RII40420 Certificate IV in Underground Coal Operations qualification.
On achievement of the G2 Risk Facilitator course, students will be able to:

- Identify potential actions
- Decide on action
